On the 129th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Gyal P. Wangyal on behalf of Deputy Chairman, ECs and Councillors of Hill Council, Leh has extended best wishes and greetings to the followers of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on April 14.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is known as the chief architect of the Indian constitution, jurist, economist, politician and social reformer who worked hard throughout his life to end social discrimination against weaker sections of the society.

 “On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, let us take inspiration from Dr. Ambedkar's great stature, struggle and values, and take a pledge to imbibe his teachings and ideas into our lives and contribute towards creating a prosperous India and Ladakh. Walking on the path of discipline and patience taught by Dr. Ambedkar is going to be a true tribute to Dr B.R Ambedkar on his birth anniversary during India’s fight against COVID-19,” said Wangyal.
