Amidst ongoing lockdown due to COVID -19 pandemic badly affecting the livelihood of labours, Hill Council, Leh directed Assistant Labour Commissioner, Leh on March 30 to transfer a sum of ₹1000 each in favour of the registered labour of Leh district.

Assistant Labour Commissioner was asked to immediately debit ₹30, 90,000 from the official account of Labour office Leh in favour of the 3,090 registered construction workers of Leh district
