The Department of Sports at Government Degree College (GDC) Drass organised an inter-college tournament including Cricket (Men) and Table Tennis (Women) competitions between GDC Kargil and GDC Drass on May 19.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both colleges in the region. This year's tournament highlighted the college's commitment to promoting gender equality in sports and served as a platform for budding athletes to showcase their talent.

The cricket and table tennis matches were well-organised, with participants demonstrating exceptional skills and sportsmanship. In the cricket match, GDC Kargil emerged as the winner. In table tennis, GDC Kargil secured victory in the doubles category, while GDC Drass won in the singles category. 

The college Principal, Dr Amjad Ali Abbasi, felicitated the winners with trophies. He commended the dedication and talent of all participants and emphasised the importance of sports in fostering teamwork and discipline.
