Member Parliament Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgail inaugurated a free medical camp and a charitable event titled “Helping Hand to Ladakh” on September 4 in Zanskar.
The camp was organised by Hans Cultural Center (HCC), New Delhi, a pan-India funding and charitable society.
MP Ladakh appreciated the HCC New Delhi for their charitable events in Zanskar as well as in other parts of Ladakh. He also informed the public that 18 new towers of 4G have been sanctioned for the Zanskar subdivision and the survey is already completed. An amount of ₹1.10 crore has been sanctioned for Zanskar valley from MP Funds for the current financial year.
Charitable items like kitchen sets, blankets, wheelchairs, school bags, notebooks, and jackets were distributed among various school children, monks and nuns.
Vikas Verma, General Manager, HCC informed that their foundation is working for the welfare of the public in the field of environment, health, and education. He assured the gathering that he will take up the demands with Shrimati Mangala for redressal in near future.
A colorful cultural program was also presented by school children, Self Help Groups (SHGs), and societies.
