The School Education Department, Kargil, Ladakh organised a felicitation ceremony on April 20 at the Chief Education Office, Kargil, to honour the CBSE Class 10 toppers of the district.

Chief Education Officer Kargil, Sonam Wangchuk, felicitated the meritorious students in the presence of Councillor Taisuru, Abdul Hadi.
The toppers honoured during the ceremony were: joint 1st position holders Aquba Rabiya (GHS Panikhar) and Nargis Banoo (PM SHRI HS Lankoor), both scoring 458/500 (91.6%); 2nd position holder Mohmad Sakib (HSS Panikhar) with 440/500 (88%); and joint 3rd position holders Bintul Huda (HSS Drass) and Sakina Banoo (HS Tambis), both securing 438/500 (87.6%).

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Education Officer congratulated the students on their remarkable achievement and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their academic pursuits. He also advised them to become responsible and exemplary citizens.

Councillor Abdul Hadi extended his congratulations to the toppers and motivated them to achieve even greater success in the future. As a token of appreciation, he presented the students with cash rewards.

The students expressed their gratitude to the School Education Department, Ladakh—particularly the Administrative Secretary, Director of Education, Chief Education Officer, and their teachers—for their continuous support and guidance.

The event concluded on a positive note, celebrating academic excellence and inspiring students across the district to aim higher.
