Executive Councilor for Tourism, RDD/PR, Cooperative, FCS&CA, and ZDA, LAHDC Kargil, Er. Punchok Tashi, chaired a meeting with Manzoor Hussain, Executive Engineer PMGSY, and other Junior Engineers of the concerned department on June 5 to review and discuss the status of various projects under the PMGSY Department in the Zanskar Sub-Division.

During the meeting, the Executive Engineer PMGSY briefed the Executive Councilor on the recent status of the various projects under PMGSY Phase-3 (2022-23) and provided details on the physical and financial status of all ongoing projects.

The Executive Councilor directed the Executive Engineer to visit the proposed sites and expedite any further Right of Way (ROW) land compensation settlements that may be needed. The Junior Engineers assured frequent site visits and the early completion of work before the end of the season.

Furthermore, EC Tashi instructed the Executive Engineer and Junior Engineers to join an official tour to Zanskar to visit the various PMGSY Phase-3 sites in the coming days. The Executive Engineer assured full support to ensure the successful completion of the projects.

In conclusion, the Executive Councilor expressed gratitude to all attendees for their participation in the meeting.
