Executive Councilor, RD&PRD, LAHDC Kargil, Er Punchok Tashi convened an introductory meeting with officers/officials of RD&PRD at the Council Secretariat, Kargil on November 6.

ACD Kargil, Ghulam Muhammad, Executive Engineer REW, Shabir Hussain, DPO Kargil Padma Angmo, BDO's, and other concerned officers attended the meeting.

EC Tashi expressed appreciation for the dedication and commitment of the Director of RD&PRD, ACD Kargil, and the entire RD&PRD team in Kargil. He expressed satisfaction with the department's performance, underscoring the positive impact of their dedicated efforts in advancing regional development.

ACD Kargil briefed about the financial achievements in the current financial year. He also apprised the meeting about the significant achievements in NRLM, MGNREGA, SDP, State Capex, CCDA, etc. 

EC Tashi directed officials to meticulously prepare detailed project reports (DPRs), emphasizing the need for comprehensive coverage of all components and strict adherence to specifications in the DPRs. This directive aims to improve project planning and execution for enhanced efficiency and quality.

He emphasized focus on beneficiary-oriented schemes and urged officers to work with dedication and not to compromise on the quality of work.

He also directed the concerned officials to complete the work before the working season and encourage maximum expenditure.
