Ensuring the supply of fresh vegetables and other essential commodities to the uncovered blocks and villages in Leh district, EC, Agriculture, Hill Council Leh, Phuntsog Stanzin took stock of the ongoing distribution on April 6.

The meeting was attended by Councillors of Phyang, Upper and Lower Leh constituency, Sherab Gyalson, AD FCS&CA department; Gh. Sultan Tak, Deputy Registrar Cooperative, Leh; President Merchant Association Leh and General Secretary Moti Market Society Leh.

Phuntsog Stanzin urged all the councillors to ensure distribution of fresh vegetables and other essential supplies uniformly in all the villages. The concerned department was directed to ensure availability of supplies for sale to the villages as per the roster fixed.  

Discussion on procuring essential commodities like milk, butter, salt, pulses, edible oil in the upcoming delivery from Delhi/Chandigarh was also carried out.
