District Legal Services Authority in collaboration with JK Northern Public School Kargil organised an awareness program to observe National Legal Services Day on November 9.

Fariqa Nazir, CJM/Secretary DLSA Kargil was the chief guest of the program. The program was also attended by Advocate Kacho Manzoor, Advocate Riyaz Ahmad and 200 students along with the officials of the JK Northern Public School Kargil.

Fariqa Nazir described about the aims and objectives of observing National Legal Services Day.

During the program, Advocate Kacho Manzoor and Advocate Riyaz Ahmed also spoke about the observation of National Legal Services Day.

The establishment of National Legal Services Day serves to raise awareness about the availability of free legal aid for all citizens, regardless of their background or identity. This nationwide celebration takes place on November 9 every year.
