On the 8th day of nationwide lockdown, District Administration Leh continues free ration to the migrant labourers/ daily wagers in the entire district.

A total of 361 labourers at Housing Colony, 155 at Chuchot Yokma, and 50 labourers at Shey were given free rice, dal, salt, cooking oil, and biscuits.

Similarly, Sonam Norboo, SDM Nubra distributed free ration to 219 migrant labourers at various parts of Nubra valley including Skamphuk, Tersay and Partapur. 

While, Tsering Motup, SDM Khaltse provided door to door delivery of essential commodities at various places including Achinathang, Lehdo, Takmachik, Kanji, Chipskyangchan, Photolalok and Lamayuru and parts of Dha Hanu.
