Director Rural development takes stock of developmental work in Kargil

Director Rural Development Ladakh, Tahir Hussain inspected the ongoing developmental works at various Panchayat of Kargil district on May 1.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Kargil, Ghulam Muhammad; District Panchayat Officer, Kargil, Shabir Hussain; Executive Engineer REW, Kargil, Gulzar Hussain Munshi, and other concerned officers were present.
While inspecting the ongoing works under MGNREGA, B2V, and other schemes at Panchayat Minjee, Tahir Hussain took the status of the ongoing and proposed works in the district.
He instructed the officers to ensure the generation of master sheets of the ongoing works and to prepare the estimates of the works to be kick-started. Also, they were asked to process the DPRs of approved works under the UT Capex Budget and Special Development Package (SDP) and to ensure the preparation of DPRs in a time-bound manner.
Also, he stressed officers to work with dedication and commitment in the smooth and hassle-free execution of all public welfare schemes on the ground.
The Director also visited the Village Office (VO) of the Self Help Group (SHG) under State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) at Minjee and took stock of the preparation of face masks by members of the SHG.
