DC Nubra conducts surprise inspection of higher secondary school Diskit
Deputy Commissioner Nubra, Mukul Beniwal, conducted a surprise inspection of Higher Secondary School Diskit on June 16 and reviewed the academic activities, attendance status, and overall teaching-learning process of the institution.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner examined the attendance records of staff and students, inquired into cases of frequent absenteeism, and assessed any irregularities in attendance patterns.
Interacting with students of Classes 10th, 11th, and 12th, the DC took feedback on the syllabus covered so far and assessed their conceptual understanding by posing questions from various subjects and engaging them in discussions based on practical examples.
Reviewing the teaching-learning process, the Deputy Commissioner directed the teaching staff to focus on strengthening students’ conceptual clarity and ensure effective utilization of remedial classes for revision, regular assessment, and continuous improvement through interactive questioning.
Addressing the students, he encouraged them to support and learn from each other, emphasizing that collaborative learning plays an important role in enhancing understanding and improving examination performance.
The inspection was accompanied by Jigmet Raftan, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nubra.
