Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, convened a meeting on December 5 to review the formulation of guidelines for the allotment of houses under the Housing for All scheme of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh. The meeting was held in the VC Room at the DC Office, Leh.

During the meeting, Assistant District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Leh presented a draft guideline outlining the framework for house allotments under the scheme.

Detailed discussions were held regarding the selection criteria, verification processes, allotment fees, and other terms and conditions essential to ensuring the scheme's fair and effective implementation.

DC Santosh Sukhadeve instructed the concerned officers to incorporate necessary modifications into the draft and expedite its finalization. He emphasized the importance of obtaining approvals from LAHDC Leh and the Union Territory administration of Ladakh. It was also resolved that the Housing and Urban Development Department would serve as the controlling authority for the scheme's infrastructure.
