Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve reviewed  the meeting regarding the Subsidy Plan for the financial year 2022-23 at DC Office Baroo on January 25.

Chief Controller Finance, Chief Education Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Assistant Registrar Cooperatives, District Animal and Sheep Husbandry Officer, Accounts Officer to DC, District Panchayat Officer and GM DIC, Kargil attended the meeting.

DC Santosh sought details from the officials of the respective departments regarding expenditure achieved till date.

The officials from the respective departments shared detailed figures of expenditure achieved, anticipated expenditure and total expenditure achieved in the year 2022-23 under the Subsidy Component.

After a detailed discussion on various aspects, DC Kargil was satisfied with the targets achieved in terms of the financial and physical progress of different works.

While reviewing the progress of different departments, DC stressed to book maximum expenditure up to end of the current financial year so that in the next financial year, they would be able to request more funds from the government.

Further, it was discussed in the meeting that the payment of Subsidy Components will be done through Expenditure Advance and Transfer (EAT) module directly to the beneficiary's bank account.
