\r\nTo ensure successful implementation of ‘Swachhta hi Sewa’ campaign in Leh district, Avny Lavasa, DC, Leh assigned all govt. departments of Leh district to launch this campaign at district and block headquarters from September 15 to October 2.\r\n

\r\nDifferent programmes are being organised in the district including cleanliness and sanitation drive in various areas, festival, waste management programme, sanitation drive in all the government schools and health institutions of district, painting competition in all the government schools. \r\n

\r\nCycle Association Leh conducted a cyclothon from Leh to Choglamsar via Spituk and Leh.  All the departments of Leh district are directed to launch cleanliness drive in their respective office complexes and their surroundings on September 23.\r\n

\r\nA painting competition on the theme ‘Swachhta hi Sewa’ was conducted in all the Govt. Higher Secondary Schools of Leh district. \r\n

\r\nStudents of all the 14 Higher Secondary Schools of Leh district participated in the painting competition.\r\n
