The Govt. High School Taru celebrated Children’s day on the 14th of November at their School.The chief guest of the event was Sarpanch, Lobzang Thinles who is also the Chairman of School Management Committee and the guest of honor was Namgyal Tashi, a member of Village Education Committee (VEC) and Ex. Teacher.
The parents, students, teachers and the School Management Committee were also present to celebrate the day.
The welcome speech was given by Smalan Chosdak. Lobzang Thinles addressed the people present during the occasion. Tsering Dorjey, senior teacher spoke about the importance and significance of Children’s Day.
The progress report of the school was also announced during the event after which report cards and prizes were distributed to the students. The celebration ended with a vote of thanks by Kunzes Dolma.
