CEC inspects office complex, Leh Asks CEO, LAHDC, Leh, to take strict action against absent employees

During a surprise inspection of the office complex carried by Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, CEC on 13 November, number of officials including HODs of various departments found absent.
The inspection was carried out in the morning along with Phunchok Stanzin, EC Agriculture and Mumtaz Hussain, EC Minority.
Jamyang Tsering Namgyal found that most of the departments have not restored or install Biometric attendance. The officials had not marked their attendance from 10:15 to 10:30 AM and few were on unauthorized leave.
He directed the concern officers for the immediate restoration of the biometric attendance system and report to his office by tomorrow morning at 10:15 AM.
While inspecting Horticulture Office, five staff including Chief Horticulture Officer, Leh was found absent. In Command Area office, two officials including Deputy Director, in Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department, eleven officials including Assistant Director, in District Treasury Office, five officials including DTO and in District Fund Office two officials were found absent.
Noting the absent and latecomer officers and officials, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal in a letter to Chief Executive Officer, Leh, directed an enquiry against the absent officials and take strict disciplinary action. He also asked to submit the action taken the report to his office at the earliest.
