CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson Holds Meeting on Swadesh Darshan 2.0, Iteration 2
Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson convened a meeting on December 12 at the Conference Hall, Council Secretariat, to discuss the identification of projects under Iteration 2 of the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme.
Key stakeholders from sectors such as tourism, planning, and local administration participated in the meeting to deliberate on enhancing Ladakh's tourism infrastructure. The primary focus was identifying tourist-centric destinations under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 initiative and exploring avenues for sustainable regional development.
A detailed virtual presentation was made on the Igoo-Phey Canal Front Development project, showcasing its potential to significantly improve tourism infrastructure while contributing to the region's overall growth.
CEC Gyalson emphasized the need to consider accommodating the incomplete Trans-Himalayas Cultural Centre project for completion under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme. It was decided that a follow-up meeting would be organized to review the initiative's progress and refine the plans for future development.
