As a part of the celebration of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav', Block Health Mela was organised at Health and Wellness Center, G M Pore, on April 18.

The Health Mela was inaugurated by Nambardar Haji Ismail. Screening of Tuberculosis (TB), Hypertension, diabetes, online registration under Ayushman Bharat, Golden Card and Health ID Generation, Tele-consultation facility ‘e-Sanjeevani on-line consultation, COVID-19 Immunization, MCH for antenatal, Dental, Eye Checkup were conducted during the mela.

A total no of 619 beneficiaries attended the Mela and 30 Ayushman Golden Card, 35 Health IDs were issued to the beneficiaries during the mela.

Block Medical officer, Sankoo, Dr Ghulam Hussain; Dr Emtiyaz Ali, Surgeon; Dr Abdul Hassan, Dr Ruksana Batool, Dental Surgeon; Senior Citizens, PRI Members, and Paramedics staff were also present.
