To present the last four year achievements of NDA led government in India, ‘Char Saal pe Baimesal’ a press conference was organised by BJP Leh on May 30 in Leh.

They talked about various schemes that were launched by the present government such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojna, Swachh Bharat Mission, Prime Minister Fasal Bima Yojna, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojna, One Rank One Pension etc which are benefiting the people.

Vikram Randhawa, MLC, J&K briefed about various work and achievements that was brought by present government in Ladakh which includes, Special 10% allowance for employees, Transmission line of Nimoo Hydel project connected with Northern Grid, ₹ 650Cr provided for Changthang region under BADP to strengthen the road connectivity, brought Nubra Development Authority, enhancement of financial power of LAHDC from ₹ 5 to 20 Cr, Construction of Nimoo-Darcha road given to National Highway Development Authority by Border Road Organisation.

He also talked about various funds allocated in the different sector to develop Ladakh which includes, ₹ 120 Cr from PMDP, under CRF ₹ 100 cr has been approved by the govt, Deemed to be University was given to CIBS, govt. considered ₹ 300 Cr for expansion of KBR Airport, to promote the Pashmina ₹ 35 Cr under PPP and ₹ 20 Cr in addition for Dehairing Plant.

Tsewang Gombo, President BJP Leh, Tsering Sandup, EC Education, Mumtaz Hussain, EC Animal Husbandry, Dorjay Angchuk, General Sectary, BJP Leh also spoke about the achievements during the press conference.
