Bank of India extends CSR support for children hostel facilities in Leh

In a major step towards strengthening its presence in the far-flung regions of the country, Managing Director and CEO of Bank of India, Rajneesh Karnatak, visited the Leh Branch during his maiden visit to the city on May 19.

During the visit, the MD & CEO reiterated Bank of India’s commitment to providing comprehensive banking services in the remote areas of Ladakh through enhanced digital banking infrastructure, including 24x7 e-Galleries for seamless and paperless banking services.

Bank of India also organised a Customer Outreach Programme at the Leh Branch in the presence of reputed customers, executives of Lions Club International, and senior officials of the Bank.

On the occasion, Rajneesh Karnatak extended CSR support to Lions Club International, Leh, for the development of library-cum-reading room infrastructure and other facilities at the Lions Club Children Hostel, Leh.

The event was attended by Chief General Manager Nitin Deshpande, Field General Manager (Chandigarh) Anil Kumar Verma, Zonal Manager (Amritsar) Rajesh Kumar Bains, and other senior executives of the Bank.

The initiative reflects Bank of India’s continued commitment towards education, social responsibility, and inclusive community development in remote regions like Ladakh.
