The NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil conducted a one-day awareness camp on hygiene, sanitation, and education at Government High School Minji on March 27.

The program began with a welcome address by the school's Vice Principal, who stressed the importance of hygiene in everyday life. NSS volunteer and Student Council President Ali Abbas spoke on the significance of personal hygiene, followed by fellow volunteer Fatima, who shared valuable insights about the objectives and activities of the National Service Scheme (NSS).

Prof. Gyalson also addressed the gathering, underlining education's transformative power in shaping individuals and society.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Vice Principal, expressing gratitude to the NSS team for their meaningful contribution.
As part of the initiative, sanitary essentials including toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap were distributed to the students, reinforcing key messages about personal hygiene.

The awareness camp served as an informative and impactful session, fostering greater understanding among students about hygiene, sanitation, and the importance of education.
