A total of 20 field staff and a doctor were sent to the Northern Regional Demonstration and Training Centre of the National Dairy Development Board in Jalandhar Punjab on November 4 for a Refresher Course in Artificial Insemination in Cattle.

The batch is deputed by the Animal Husbandry Department Leh, under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme – Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM).

Besides, over the course of 10 days, these field staff will undergo intensive training that aims to further enhance their skills and knowledge in AI techniques.  Earlier, on October 8, the department had already deputed its first batch of field staff, consisting of 19 staff and a doctor for a 12-day training program.
