The AN-32 Kargil Courier Service on February 12 operated its first Jammu sortie of the winter season, ensuring continued air connectivity between Kargil and Jammu.
At Jammu Airport, the Indian Air Force pilots and crew were warmly received by the Liaison Officer, Assistant Liaison Officers, and officials from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), CISF, Air India, and AIASL.
The service conducted two sorties during the day, transporting a total of 128 passengers in both directions.
On the Kargil-to-Jammu sector, 32 passengers were airlifted—18 in the first sortie and 14 in the second. On the return leg from Jammu to Kargil, 53 passengers traveled in the first sortie and 43 in the second.
