Advisor stresses to expedite appointment orders for 562 posts in UT
Advisor Pawan Kotwal discussed the vital process of issuing appointment orders pertaining to select lists issued by the Staff Selection Commission.
He emphasized the need for swift action, noting that out of a total of 562 posts, results have been declared for 481 positions. To ensure transparency and information dissemination, he directed the concerned officers to hold a press conference every week, as appointment orders have already been issued for eligible candidates.
During the meeting, Advisor Kotwal and the concerned officers delved into the appointment process, scrutinization procedures, and the delegation of authority. Administrative Secretary was granted the authority to sign the appointment orders on behalf of the administrative authority, ensuring the efficiency of the process.
Advisor Kotwal further directed each department to establish a dedicated cell responsible for providing regular updates through weekly press conferences.
Additionally, a specific day was designated for the review of appointment orders, promoting accountability and timely action.
The meeting also featured discussions on district recruitment, with a focus on addressing challenges and concerns surrounding the ongoing recruitment efforts.
Advisor Dr. Pawan Kotwal, along with Principal Secretary, Secretaries, and relevant officers and officials, actively engaged in discussions to address problems and issues related to the recruitment process.
