In the second phase of distribution of free ration amidst lockdown, District Administration, Leh is continuously providing free ration to the migrant labourers in Leh district on April 24.

Free ration including Rice- 1875 kgs, Dal- 750 kgs and Edible oil- 375 litres were distributed among 375 migrant labourers at Sankar of Leh city. 250 kgs of potato were also distributed among the labourers. Soaps and face masks are also being distributed among them.

The administration, under the directions of Sachin Kumar, District Magistrate, Leh is reaching out to every migrant labour in the district to ensure the motto of ‘no one should sleep empty stomach’.
