Acting on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Leh, Ghulam Mohd (JKAS), conducted surprise visits to various government offices in Leh to inspect staff attendance.

The ADC inspected several departments, including the Department of Information, Archives, BDO Leh, Rural Engineering Wing (REW), Tehsildar Office, ICDS, Soil Conservation, Deputy CMO, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Command Area Development, and the Leh Development Authority.

During the inspections, the ADC emphasized punctuality and directed all concerned departments to install biometric attendance systems promptly. Attendance registers and existing biometric attendance records were also reviewed to ensure compliance with attendance norms.

Highlighting the importance of discipline and accountability, the ADC instructed all departments to maintain regular and punctual attendance to enhance efficiency in public service delivery.
