Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din Wani reviewed the developmental works in the subdivision during a meeting with the concerned officers at Tourist Dak Bungalow Padum Zanskar on May 25.

Sub Divisional Magistrate, Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay; District Immunization Officer, Dr. Jaleel Ahmad Wani; Naib Tehsildar Zanskar, BMO Zanskar, Executive Engineer PWD, SHO Zanskar, SDAO Zanskar, CDPO Zanskar, LDO Zanskar, Principal HSS Padum, HMs of HS Phay, Tungri and Zangla, AEES of Mechanical, PWD, ZDA, RDD and in charges of other departments were present during the meeting.

Discussions and deliberations were held on different developmental works in the subdivision. All the HODs raised the issues related to their departments and the ADC assured that the issues would be taken up with concerned higher authorities.

ADC also discussed with ZEO and headmasters of High Schools the implementation of the New National Education Policy. He also reviewed solid waste management and was directed to immediately hold a cleanliness drive in Padum town.

Later, the ADC visited the under-construction site of the staff quarter at CHC Padum and directed the Executive Engineer PWD to complete the work within the stipulated time.
