Aadhaar operators from Kargil, Drass, Zanskar attend UIDAI training
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) organised a mega training programme for Aadhaar Enrolment and Update Operators and Supervisors from Kargil, Drass and Zanskar districts of the UT of Ladakh on August 25 in Kargil.
The programme was inaugurated by Jagdish Kumar, Director, UIDAI Regional Office, Chandigarh.
Around 55 Aadhaar operators and supervisors from various departments and organisations across Ladakh participated in the training, including the Department of Information Technology, Education Department, ICDS, BSNL, Common Service Centres (CSCs), J&K Bank, Army Postal Service and India Post.
The training covered the Aadhaar Enrolment and Update ecosystem, Universal Client (UC) features, operational guidelines, enrolment and update procedures, best practices and security protocols essential for efficient and compliant Aadhaar service delivery.
The sessions focused on the practical use of the Universal Client, enhancing operator skills, ensuring data quality, maintaining confidentiality and addressing operational challenges through interactive discussions. The training also aimed to improve the overall citizen experience in accessing Aadhaar services.
The initiative reaffirmed UIDAI’s commitment to strengthening the capacity of Aadhaar operators and supervisors through continuous technical upskilling and aligning the Aadhaar Enrolment and Update ecosystem with evolving technological advancements.
