Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon chaired an introductory and interactive meeting with the district officers and all sectorial heads on October 23.

The meeting was aimed at introducing the newly elected Councilors to the district officers. 

CEC said that the district officers have done a phenomenal job under the supervision of the previous LAHDC and expect the same support from the officers. He said whenever public issues are raised by the Councilors, the concerned should redress them. He said the LAHDC expects the UT Administration's support as well during the tenure. 

During the meeting, CEC Akhoon presented a presentation about the present LAHDC's vision for Kargil's development.

DC/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Shrikant Suse congratulated the newly elected CEC for resuming the chair and said that the District Administration will extend all support to accomplish the vision of LAHDC for public welfare.

He said that all officers in the administration are capable and will work in close coordination with the LAHDC. He congratulated the newly elected Executive Councilors and Councilors.

During the meeting, the Executive Councilors, Councilors, and District Officers gave their brief introduction.
