5-day FTII smartphone film making course concludes
The five-day smartphone filmmaking course conducted by the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, free of cost for Schedule Tribe participants concluded on October 22.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Information, UT Ladakh, Padma Angmo thanked course faculty, Ajmal Jami, for guiding the students from Ladakh in smartphone filmmaking, and pointed out that smartphone filmmaking and citizen journalism have democratized the respective fields of filmmaking and journalism. While thanking FTII for conducting the course, she added that filmmaking is a great career opportunity for the people of Ladakh and the department looks forward to collaboration with FTII in the future.
Director FTII, Bhupendra Kainthola appreciated the efforts put in by the students of Ladakh and said that FTII Pune would like to conduct more courses in Ladakh. He also requested Secretary Information to send some good filmmakers to Pune for short courses.
