4-day puppetry and stop-motion animation workshop held at EJM college

In collaboration with Charkha Communication Network, Delhi, the Department of Mass Communication & Journalism at Eliezer Joldan Memorial College, Leh, successfully concluded a 4-day puppetry-making and stop-motion animation workshop on September 6. Held from September 3-6, the workshop aimed to enhance journalism students' creative and technical storytelling skills.
The final day featured a student-led puppetry show addressing significant social issues such as eve-teasing, menstrual awareness, climate change, agriculture, and lack of transportation. The workshop was attended by over 30 students from various departments, along with faculty members.
Principal Dr. Samina Iqbal commended the efforts of the Mass Communication & Journalism students and the Charkha Foundation for their commitment to addressing meaningful topics through creative mediums. Assistant Professor Mohammad Ali Khan expressed gratitude to the resource persons, students, and faculty for their contributions to the workshop's success.
