25 students from Kargil flagged off for exposure visit and participation in Rashtra Katha Shivir
CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon flagged off a group of 25 students from various Higher Secondary Schools of Kargil for an exposure tour and participation in the 25th Rashtra Katha Shivir in Rajkot, Gujarat.
Organized under the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan by Samagra Shiksha of the Education Department, Kargil, the tour includes visits to Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Rajkot, offering the students a unique opportunity to learn and interact in new environments. Two escort teachers will accompany the students throughout the journey.
Addressing the students, Dr. Akhoon congratulated them and extended his best wishes for their journey. He encouraged the participants to proudly represent Ladakh by sharing Kargil’s rich cultural heritage, its tourism potential, and other positive aspects of the region during their interactions.
The CEC highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering the overall development of students by exposing them to diverse cultures and environments. He emphasized the role of such programs in promoting unity, national integration, and broadening students’ perspectives.
