A total of 218 sample reports including 73 from Leh and 145 from Kargil were received by the Health Department on May 11. All were tested negative. Health Department, Leh further sent 35 samples for test to NCDC, New Delhi.

All the 21 active COVID-19 cases of UT Ladakh, 19 of Leh and 2 of Kargil district health condition are stable.
 
On May 10, a total number of 491 passengers were screened at Khaltse entry point from 1:30 PM which continued till 1:30 AM. Sanitisation of 130 trucks was also carried out.
 
A normal delivery was also conducted at NTPHC Trespon (Kargil). The mother and both the babies are in good health and both babies were given the birth dose vaccination.
 
Fumigation/disinfection of CHC Chiktan was conducted by Block Medical Officer Chiktan. 
 
Surveillance of people under quarantine is being done by Health Workers in all blocks of Leh district under the close monitoring of BMOs of all blocks.
