The Chairman of the Haj Committee, Union Territory of Ladakh, Ghulam Abbas Abidi, along with members of the committee — Ghulam Mohammad, Mohammad Hussain, Bilal Ahmad, Sheikh Liaqat, Asha Mallo, and Zahra Banoo — on June 14 welcomed the first batch of 143 Haj pilgrims from Ladakh upon their arrival at Srinagar International Airport.

Expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for the safe return of the pilgrims, Ghulam Abbas Abidi congratulated them on the successful completion of their sacred spiritual journey. He also acknowledged and appreciated the cooperation and support extended by various agencies and stakeholders involved in ensuring smooth arrangements for the Haj pilgrimage.

The Haj Committee, UT Ladakh, reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare of all Haj pilgrims and assured continued assistance and support for the remaining batches scheduled to arrive in the coming days.
