10,900 quintals of animal nutrient supplements distributed

The District Sheep Husbandry department distributed nutrient supplements under Pashmina Wool Development Scheme for the year 2015-16 in Nyoma, Durbuk, and Nubra sub-divisions on 5th January.
The nutrient supplement comprises 7400 quintals pelted cattle feed, 2000 quintals local barley and 1500 quintals alfa-alfa dry fodder especially for weak and pregnant goats.
The distribution will be done in the presence of committee members constituted for the purpose.
The supplements were distributed in Kharnak, Samad, Angkung, Sumdo, Korzok, Tegazong, Chumur, Anlay (Khaldo, Buk-shado, Pungug Deque, Reque), Rongo, Kuyul, Skakjung, Demjok, Tsaga, Mudh, Nyoma, Niddar and Chumathang to Liktsey of Nyoma Sub-Division.
In Durbuk sub-division, the distribution were done in Phobrang, Man-Merak and adjoining hamlets along with Chushul, Kargyam, Satoo and rest of the villages.
In Nubra sub-division, the distribution was made in Digger, Tangyer and adjoining hamlets.
