The awaited day for the people of Ladakh has come to an end as the Head of the Sakya Lineage His Holiness 41st Sakya Trizin Rinpoche arrived in Leh on June 25th morning. 

His Holiness arrived Leh around 8.30am, with great enthusiasm and faith, school students, societies and association gathered all to welcome His Holiness. At first, His Holiness visited Chowkhang Vihara, Leh and later proceeded towards Matho Photang.

MLA & Congress Legislature Party Leader Nawang Rigzin Jora, Chief Executive Councillor, Rigzin Spalbar and many distinguished guest from various association and departments were present to honor His Holiness.

LBA President, Tsewang Thinles welcomes His Holiness to Leh and expressed the gratitude and fortunate of everyone on behalf of all Ladakhi. 

His Holiness Sakya Trizin Rinpoche expressed his happiness to be in Ladakh after so long and appreciates the arrangements and warm welcome by the people of Ladakh. He further added the big developments in Ladakh as compared to his last visit. His Holiness asked people to be compassionate and loving in order to lead a happy life and talked about the importance to develop mind and soul for a better human life. At last, he expressed his concern to the people of Ladakh and prayed for the peace, prosperity and harmony.

President, Ladakh Gompa Association –Lobzang Samstan gave vote of thanks and expressed the fortunate of all Ladakhi people to get blessing from His Holiness. He further appeals people to attend teaching and put into practice in daily life.
