To review the arrangements for the smooth conduct of Narendra Modi, Prime Minister visit on May 19, Avny Lavasa, DC convened a meeting on May 11 in Leh.

Officers of district administration were directed to gear up their men and machinery in making necessary arrangements under their allied departments.

Discussion on the accommodation of VVIPs, security, transport, parking, and preparation of stage with decoration barricading, drinking water, and health at the venue of the PM’s visit was carried out. 

  

Avny Lavasa directed the health department to arrange critical care ambulances with medicines at the venue of the PM visit and Executive Engineer Construction Division for proper leveling of premises and up-gradation of in and around link roads of the venue. Also, Administrator, Municipal Committee, and ACD were asked to ensure proper arrangements of toilet facilities for VVIPs and public. 

Air Officer, Commanding, 21 Wing Airforce Station, Leh, Chief Engineer, HIMANK, Leh, Sargun Shukla, SSP, Moses Kunzang, ADC besides other senior officers of Police, PWD, PHE, BSNL, LDA, Tourism, Health, Education,  Fire and Emergency Services and Transport were present on the occasion.
