To review the preparation for Ladakh Festival, 2019 scheduled to be held from September 1 to 4, Moses Kunzang, Additional Deputy Development Commissioner convened a meeting on August 21 at DC Conference hall.

He informed that the main attraction of the festival will be Thangka exhibitions, Talk Series, Mask Dance, Archery competition, Polo matches, Handicrafts and handlooms exhibition.

Moses Kunzang stresses on the venues to be mostly around the Leh market for better convenience to all the guest. Municipal eco-park, Chowkang Vihara, Central Asian museum, Polo ground, LAMO centre and Taxi stand will be the main venues during the festival.

Besides that decoration of the market, advertisement to attract more tourists, encouraging locals to wear traditional attire during the festival were also discussed.
