In order to motivate the students to overcome their stage fear and to showcase their talents, Middle school Skurbuchan organized an inter school debate competition on 26th April as a part of its Saturday activities.  There were 4 students each from nearby school, with two participants in senior section and two in junior section who spoke for and against the motion on the topic importance of election and for junior section the topic was uses of vehicles and its impact on environment.

 

In junior section, Thinlay Nurboo of Middle school Skurbuchan bagged the first position, Padma Chorol of Middle School, Khacheythang got 2nd position and Padma Chuskit of Middle School, Lehdho won the third position.

Tundup Namgyal while presenting vote of thanks assured that the school will continue to hold such events in the future also so as to encourage the students and provide them a platform to display their talent.

Head of the school Rigzin Chondol distributed the prizes among the winners and congratulated them on their success.
