Annual Day celebration of Army Public School Leh

Army Public School Leh celebrated its annual day on 21st November, at the Rinchen Auditorium. Teachers, students and parents who came to witness this cultural fest enjoyed it to the fullest, wherein students showcased talents from all parts of India much to the chosen theme of “unity in diversity”.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was S.K. Sandhu, CE, NHPC Basgo Nimmo power plant. The function was also attended by civil and military guests, whose presence made the occasion more special. The function begins by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony by the Chief Guest along with the Chairman Col. SS Patil.
The audiences applauded the efforts and talent of the young children who presented English skit, dandiya, mime, bhangra and other programmes.
Principal Arshiya Badalia in her speech highlighted the school’s academic growth and achieving 100% results in the previous academic session and emphasis on co-curricular and extracurricular activities which simply spoke of the opportunities that a child was exposed to at Army Public School.
Army Public School has set a new trend in the methodology of imparting education in Leh where temperature drops to sub zero. The class rooms are equipped with smart classes, separate labs for Science, Maths and Languages State of the Art Library, sports and music facilities which give the child an all round development. Modern facilities of heating, dining and sports are why a child should join Army Public School Leh, she added.
The function ended on a very pleasant note where the school’s Magazine “Ignited Minds” was unveiled by the chief Guest and copies were distributed to the children.
