Marking the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, 37th Btn Indo Tibetan Border Police celebrated ‘Run for Unity’ in collaboration with Kendriya Vidyalaya School on October 31.

The ‘Run for Unity’ rally was flagged off by Baljinder Singh, Commandant, and 37th Btn ITBP.

Baljinder Singh said that Run for Unity is a part of the elaborate celebration planned by the Government to commemorate Sardar Vallabhai Patel on his birth anniversary. The day marked as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is to pay rich tribute to Sardar Vallabhai Patel for his effort in uniting India.

Deputy Commandant’s Sanjeev Kumar and Raj Kumar Verma and Assistant Commandant Yunush Khan were also present.

A pledge and march past parade were organised by the unit.
