Ladakh is going to organise a three-day literature festival starting from 29th to 31st October in Leh. This is for the first time that Ladakh is organising a literature festival. 

In a press conference on October 26 , Saugat Biswas, Divisional Commissioner Ladakh informed that this will be a unique literature festival as Ladakh has a unique culture and heritage.  "We are organising this three-day festival with a national reach.  Around 110 speakers and performers will be taking part in this literary festival. Around 10 -15 authors will be from the national level which historians, writers, artists and many others," he added. 

The Ladakh Literature Festival 2019 is jointly organised by J&K Tourism, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh, Ladakh Media & Art Organisation (LAMO) and All Ladakh Tours Operators’ Association (ALTOA).

The three-day-long events will include talks, film screening, stories, presentations, discussions and many more.
