Ladakh Tourism department participating in the 3-day South Asia’s Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE) from February 9-11 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida-NCR.
Around 40 travel trade association members and hoteliers from the twin districts of Leh and Kargil are participating in the event to showcase Ladakh’s tourism potential and unique attractions.
The Tourism Department, UT Ladakh is making all efforts to give the tourism stakeholders from Ladakh all possible exposure within the country and abroad. SATTE being a big travel mart provides an appropriate forum at the national and international level for promoting Ladakh as a 12-month tourist destination and also gives an opportunity to conduct B2B, B2C, B2G, and G2G interactions, which helps in establishing fruitful business relationships and at the same time spread information about hitherto unknown tourist destinations within the UT of Ladakh.
Secretary (Tourism), UT Ladakh, Kacho Mehboob Ali Khan, IRS inaugurated the Ladakh Pavilion at SATTE in the presence of the Director Tourism, officials, and stakeholders from Ladakh.
The officials interacted with the representatives of leading travel companies, magazines, operators, marketers, etc. from various parts of India and other countries.
SATTE is recognized as Asia’s leading travel and tourism exhibition to conduct business, share knowledge and exchange ideas to arrive at solution-driven innovations to accelerate the pace of growth of the tourism industry and offers a comprehensive platform to domestic and international buyers and professionals from across the travel, tourism, and hospitality industry as well as national and state tourism boards.
The Ladakh Pavilion on the first day received an overwhelming response from visitors who inquired about different tourism products, and locations and expressed their keen interest to visit Ladakh in near future.
The Tourism Department and the Co-exhibitors from Ladakh distributed collaterals depicting the tourist attractions, unique culture, landscape, cuisine, and other aspects. Promotional films on various themes were also screened before the visitors who were mesmerized by the unique culture, landscape, natural beauty, and other diverse tourist attractions of Ladakh.
