Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse reviewed the progress of work of the Tourism Department under Swadesh Darshan 2.0 on 7 February.

DC Kargil was informed that the DPRs for many projects under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 Scheme of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India are under preparation. He instructed AD Tourism to ensure the completion of the same at the earliest.

Discussions were also held on progress on the skill development component under SD 2.0, branding of tourism potential of the district on a more comprehensive pattern. 
Ministry of Tourism has revamped the scheme and launched Swadesh Darshan 2.0 with a holistic mission to develop sustainable and responsible tourism destinations across the country.

Nodal officer ADC Kargil, Ghulam Mohiudin Wani, and Assistant Director Tourism, Kargil, Aga Syed Toha were present in the meeting.
