CEC, Leh, launches District Tourist Management System portal
Leh District Tourist Management System portal (www.lahdclehpermit.in) was launched by Tashi Gyalson, CEC,Hill Council, Leh in presence of Secretary, Tourism, UT Ladakh, Mehboob Ali Khan, and Deputy Commissioner, Leh Shrikant Suse virtually on June 24.
Tashi Gyalson appreciated the efforts of the District Administration for developing an easy and user-friendly portal for the convenience of the tourists. He appealed tourism fraternity to avail benefits of the newly revamped portal.
Secretary Tourism shared that the launch of the Leh district tourist management system would be beneficial in the hassle-free movement of tourists. He hope that the process would be streamlined quickly/ sooner and directed the officials to promote the newly launched facility on a bigger scale.
DC, Leh, informed that the existing portal has been revamped by NIELIT Leh in association with ICICI Bank to facilitate the easy movement of tourists. This would allow domestic tourists to complete formalities electronically and they no longer need to visit the DC office for any physical verification. Mobile application would be launched in 2-3 days.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh; Deputy Director, NIELIT, Leh; Assistant Director, Tourism, Leh; President, All Ladakh Tour Operator Association, Leh; President, All Ladakh Hotel and Guest House Association, Leh and ICICI Bank officials were also present during the occasion.
