India's traditional archery team joins 5th World Nomad Games in Kazakhstan

The 5th World Nomad Games, recognized as the largest and most prestigious event celebrating nomadic culture, officially commenced in Astana, Kazakhstan. The grand inauguration ceremony marked the start of the games, which will take place from September 8 to 15. India’s Traditional Archery team, representing the Traditional Archery Society of Ladakh, is set to compete against some of the world's finest archers. This year’s games feature participants from 92 countries and 4,000 athletes competing across various disciplines. In the Traditional Archery category alone, 120 players will demonstrate their skills in three distinct distance categories: 70 meters, 60 meters, and 30 meters. The inauguration ceremony highlighted the cultural richness and historical significance of the event, setting the tone for a week of spirited competition and global camaraderie. The Indian archery team is poised to showcase their expertise and contribute to the colorful and diverse atmosphere of the World Nomad Games.
