Cycle rally ‘Pedal for Patriots’ commemorates Kargil Vijay Diwas
A cycle rally, 'Pedal for Patriots: Kargil Vijay Diwas Ride,' was successfully organized by the ‘Fire and Fury Corps’ Army Air Defence Brigade on July 26. The rally commenced from Spituk, Leh, and concluded at Khardung La, covering a total distance of 40 km.
The rally was part of the ongoing celebrations marking the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas, in remembrance of the valiant heroes who sacrificed their lives for our nation’s security and integrity in the icy heights of Kargil.
Officers, JCOs, and soldiers participated, demonstrating unwavering dedication and spirit. The event was marked by vibrant displays of patriotism, with cyclists carrying flags and banners commemorating the Kargil War heroes. It showcased the unity and mutual admiration among the participants for the courageous warriors who laid down their lives for our nation.
