Various delegations met L-G Ladakh in New Delhi

New Delhi :

President & CEO, International Institute for Energy Conservation (IIEC), Sanjay Dube met Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) at Ladakh Bhawan in New Delhi on November 9.

Sanjay Dubey informed L-G that their organisation is involved in clean energy, clean transport, and energy conservation. He informed that the organisation is assisting Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) in implementing building energy efficiency-related projects in Ladakh and has also assisted the Transport Department, Ladakh in the demonstration of Electric Vehicles (EVs) for electrification of freight. 

He informed that the organisation will support the UT administration in designing and implementing innovative projects in energy efficiency and electric mobility areas to support the Carbon-Neutral Ladakh initiative.
 
A delegation comprising Rakshanda V Sonavane, Mahendra Surana, Mohd Ramzan Mir, and Fahaad Bhat met LG at Ladakh Bhawan in New Delhi.

The delegates discussed various issues with the LG, viz. transforming and enhancing the lives of the socially and economically backward people of society such as orphans, handicapped, sick, blind, and the old, and creating lasting solutions to overcome poverty and hunger in Ladakh.
 
A delegation led by Shivani Joshi called on the LG at Ladakh Bhawan in New Delhi.

Shivani submitted a proposal to the L-G about comprehensive brand development for the tourism and culture of Ladakh. She informed that their organisation will support UT Administration in enhancing Ladakh's global visibility and strengthening its position as a tourism destination offering a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness
