Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan released the information brochure of the University of Ladakh (UoL) at the Council Secretariat, Kargil on March 22.

Registrar, University of Ladakh, Imteeaz Kacho; Rector, Kargil Campus University of Ladakh, Kaneez Fatima; Dean Students Welfare, University of Ladakh, Dr. Amjad Ali Abbasi and Assistant Registrar University of Ladakh, Syed Ali Shah were present on the occasion.

Feroz Ahmed Khan said that the brochure would prove beneficial for students to get complete information about the courses and facilities provided by the University of Ladakh.

Khan lauded the role of the UoL for starting 6 new courses from the current academic session onwards and hoped that the University will further accelerate its continued endeavors in the dissemination of accessible, affordable, and quality education at the doorsteps of the students of Ladakh. He also hoped that the University would start new courses keeping in view the increasing demand for quality higher education. 

Imteeaz Kacho informed that fresh students who will get admitted this year to pursue different courses will find this brochure beneficial. He said that 6 new courses have been included this year thereby taking the total number of courses offered by the UoL to 16.

CEC, Kargil wished the UoL all the best in all its endeavors and reiterated that LAHDC, Kargil will extend all-out support and cooperation required by the University in the smooth implementation of its mandate in the Kargil district.
